Ruthless Global began as Ruthless Magazine in 2016, founded by Ruby M. Bukhari. Initially, we supported young talent globally through stories, interviews, and articles on social and political issues. In 2017 and 2018, we hosted live music nights in London and featured organizations like Queering the Map, Arpita Shah, Alia Romagnoli, and Nova Twins online.
In January 2020, we partnered with The Sunflower Lounge for a month-long festival showcasing over 100 local bands, supported by Purity Brewery, Asahi, and Jägermeister. These artists gained exposure on BBC and local radio, boosting their early careers.
During COVID-19, our founder joined South Asian Heritage Month (SAHM) as Events Manager and Trustee. Ruthless Magazine collaborated with SAHM to host successful online events, including panel discussions on colorism, LGBTQ+ safe spaces, heritage, healing, inclusivity, and fashion. After two years, we parted ways with SAHM due to differing visions.
Our final event as Ruthless Magazine was in August 2021. We held a free community music night in South East London to combat COVID-19 isolation and celebrate community solidarity.
After taking some time away, conducting interviews and research, and working directly with local organizations globally, Ruby decided to launch Ruthless Global to bring a holistic, innovative, and detail-oriented approach to social justice and sustainable development.
In May 2024, Ruthless Global launched as a social enterprise dedicated to driving social change through innovative programs and initiatives.

Ruthless Global is a pioneering social enterprise based in London, UK, dedicated to executing high-impact, transformative projects. We currently have projects and partners in Tanzania, Malawi, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the UK.
With extensive experience from Harlow Council, The Health Foundation, Royal Academy of Engineering, and Medics Across Continents, we excel in developing innovative programs, campaigns, and studies.
